“This battle of emotions was ever-swaying. The vulnerability to open up and face this ‘alone’ kept me fighting. The final jump from the stool (his shoulders) to the moment I hit the ground and realized I was alone. This left me afraid, scared and searching for any reason to avoid that vulnerability. I searched everywhere to only find myself where I started. Only now realizing I wasn’t alone but safe with my real father. This is where I learned that vulnerability isn’t weakness but it is rather intimate strength that God gives us.”
